Siblings Kaiousei
============================|+|============================
When Hanabi trains with her father, she does so determinedly. She fights as if she would lose her life otherwise - it's always been this way. She heard the concept one day while she overheard several ninjas discussing their profession, and she knew that it was important and she made it her policy. She never slowed down - she never let up. You can't stop to breathe when your life is in danger. In her opinion, this is what it meant to be a ninja.
Hinata was weak. Her father never said the words, but Hanabi could see it in his face as she left after coming to the house for something or another. In his heart, she could see nothing but spite for his first-born daughter.
Hanabi couldn't help but feel somewhat responsible, as she listened to her sister's shy footsteps skim across the hardwood floor as she departed. If Hanabi herself hadn't fought with her life - if she didn't have what her father was so convinced was pure talent... She might still love her, too.
But Hanabi herself knew she wouldn't be able to face the punishment for falling behind. She wouldn't know what to do in her sister's position... so she fought even harder to master her Byakugan, praying that Hinata might forgive her someday in the future. She just hoped that she herself would not hate her by then.
